World server is playing ping pong right now but I was able to get a screenshot in the 30 seconds I had. I didn't get a chance to get any further than this, but you can see the abilities you get once you make your selection (shadowstep, bladeflurry, mutilate).

I should note that mmo-champion isn't showing the abilities/talents that you get when you make your selection. See my link in my post above to see what I'm talking about. You get one active ability (eg blade flurry) and two passive abilities when you make your tree selection.

OMG, they aren't just whistling Dixie when they said they were revamping a lot of things. Not just redoing talent trees, but crap, I'm going to have to relearn how to play, I'm getting stuff that's not in game, plus I knew they were changing Lunar/Solar stuff, now I *think* it's supposed to kind of work like a rogue's attack in that I try to stack Lunar or Solar, just not clear if it's on the target or myself, LOL. Man, I wish they'd send me a beta key, I will need time to adjust!

Also, I do not see the "you get this automatically with your chosen tree" things, I am presuming Moonkin form is one of the biggies for Balance tree...or do all druids get that now?

Mmmm, now I will go look at the resto shammy tree and see how much relearning *that* will be...

Here's the tree interface

See where it says Assassination and then has Blade Flurry, Improved Poisons and Assassins Resolve listed under it? That means that when you choose Assassination, you get those three abilities right off the bat. You don't have to put any points into Assassination to get those. Once you make your selection, you're locked in and you start spending points.

At the bottom, where it says "View Talent Trees," this is where you can preview the trees before making your selection.

I'll try and get a screen shot of the warlock tree tonight. Severs weren't too stable last night and I got kicked before I could really even look at them.
Warlocks, we're bringing the sexy back.

Well, I have to say I kind of like the Priest and Pally trees based on my first look on mmo-champion. Some of the talents I felt I needed from other trees are now covered by analogues in the main talent tree. There's still a small amount of mostly unavoidable "bloat" due to talents that seem PVP oriented and aren't particularly useful in raids. I could see spending all or nearly all of my points in a single tree for the healing specs. It also looks like they gave Holy Priests some love based on the talent descriptions. Won't know for sure until I start playing with the new spec.

I think what you get per specialization differs from class to class as mages only seem to get two items with specialization.

you have to keep in mind that this is their first pass at this and is very much subject to change.

I will say this about the new trees, based on an inspection of the classes I play: there is far less cross-tree appeal, now. For instance, if I'm speccing a Feral druid, there are only about 5 points worth of talents that might be of interest to me outside the Feral tree. The only immediately-obvious exception I saw was mages: Icy Veins is a fantastic talent that everybody wants, but barring further changes only Frost mages are going to be able to get it anymore.

Personally I'm sadder about the loss of hit talents, but I'm guessing that gear will be adjusted for that difference. Still playing as Arcane is gonna be sweet since Master of Elements is a Tier 1 talent now.

I think I may need a bib.
