This weekend the servers our site is hosted on went through some hardware updates, so you should notice it performing a bit faster.
Also a new feature was added to be able to set the time zone for your particular account. As an example the Site is considered to be at -8, but if you live on the east coast you can set it to your local time zone which will make the times in the calendar and other places be right with no mental math (not that that was a huge problem for us).
To set this up click on the "My Account" link at the top right of the page, then click "Account" tab. Once done you can set your timezone.
Also the groups page was updated to include a "wall" type feature. We don't use this feature much but it might be useful to make yourself familiar with it.
